Dried pineapples and pineapple juices from the Centre de Séchage des Fruits Tropicaux (CSFT) in Abomey come from Benin’s Organic and Ecological Farming. Bursting with Beninese sunshine, they can be enjoyed as is, as an aperitif, on a hike or with desserts. The CSFT contributes to the development of local resources and provides work for around forty people, 90% of whom are women. Buying a bag of dried pineapple or a bottle of CSFT pineapple juice means paying a fair price to a small Beninese pineapple producer and his family.
